Zulma Acevedo is the Office Administrator and Senior Paralegal for The Law Office of José Alfredo Hernández, APC. Ms. Acevedo began her employment as a receptionist for the firm while she was working on her A.A. degree and Paralegal Certificate from Santa Ana Community College. Ms. Acevedo quickly demonstrated that she was a quick study and began assuming the responsibilities of a legal secretary, quickly developing working relationships with Court Clerks and their support staff. Her prior experience in office administration led to her promotion of Office Administrator for the firm.
Ms. Acevedo works closely with clients who find themselves in financial need so that they can continue to receive competent representation. Ms. Acevedo is the Senior Paralegal at the firm, fully responsible for immigration cases that involve consular processing, adjustment of status, removal of conditions, and I-360 VAWA Petitions. Ms. Acevedo has been a key contributor in the preparation and success of many of our clients who required waivers of inadmissibility.
Ms. Acevedo is expected to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from California State University in Fullerton in June 2014.
